Check out Bodyweight® flag on MOUNT EVEREST!
Unfortunately not at the very top, but anyway, as high up you can come right now. Usually, it's high season for climbers, from late April until the end of May, when the rain start. Almost three weeks ago there was an avalanche just below camp two, at about 6400 meters altitude. The avalanche killed sixteen guides, and the incident is one of the worst ever, at Mount Everest. For the first time the mountain is "closed" and no climbing is done on Everest South.
Our dear friend Jerry Gladh survived, but had to turn back home without having reached the top. THANKS Jerry!
